Whether you are moving across city, state or country- don’t let the stress of packing affect the excitement of a fresh start! Being prepared and organized for the big move will make the whole process much more enjoyable. Grab your Sharpies and boxes, and follow the tips below to make relocating a breeze.

Declutter
First things first- make sure what you want to bring from your old home will work with the new space. Or, if you are looking to revamp your space-now is the perfect time to do that. Just like on the tv shows, set up three areas for ‘keep, donate, discard’. This will help you visualize what you really need with you and remember- your new building has plenty of amenities to help. Packing and Labeling
To keep with making this process as stress-free as possible- don’t just throw things into boxes and plan on dealing with it later. Must-Haves for Moving Day
Things you don’t want to have to do on the first night in your new place- open every box trying to find your pajamas, toothbrush, phone charger, etc…While you’re packing, make a box with necessities you’ll need for the first night in your new home. That way all you have to do is get the boxes inside and head out to explore your new neighborhood.
